BBVA Switzerland has rolled out a digital investment service open to most investors across the globe, without net worth requirements.
- New Gen serves as a digital investment account that is available to investors except for those in the United States. The service requires a Swiss franc or euro equivalent of a $10,000 deposit.
- The service allows investors to copy portfolios of popular investors such as Cathie Wood or Warren Buffet. They can also select from themes such as assets related to climate change.
- The new offering is in line with BBVA’s efforts to roll out a platform that will allow clients to invest in stocks, crypto, and cash through a single account. BBVA started to offer digital tokens to private customers in June, starting with Bitcoin.
The New Gen offering compares with those of larger institutions that restrict client access to target the wealthy.
BTC is up 1.85%, ETH up 4.90%, and XRP up 3.35%.
