This recent surge in stock price is particularly impressive considering that it surpasses the company’s previous peak of $353.42 achieved on August 1st.
While Berkshire Hathaway enjoyed this notable increase, several other companies in the sector experienced mixed outcomes. Honeywell International Inc. (HON) saw a decrease of 1.24% to $190.51, while General Electric Co. (GE) had a minor rise of 0.35% to $112.36. Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) also witnessed a slight increase of 0.08% to $250.23.
Despite the positive performance, trading volume remained slightly lower than its 50-day average volume, with 2.9 million shares traded compared to the average of 3.3 million shares.
