The world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance partners with Splyt, a super app enabler, to bring payment options to the Binance application.
- The integration of the payment options will allow Binance users to pay for ride-hailing services, bike sharing, scooters, airport transfers, public transport, and food delivery.
- Splyt’s network of partners covers mobility in more than 150 nations and provides more than 300,000 trips, tickets, and things to do worldwide.
- The announcement comes as a relief to Binance, which struggled with issues related to “stuck transactions” when withdrawing Bitcoin. The problem was resolved eight hours later.
- A Splyt spokesperson stated that it’s the first partnership in the crypto space and faced with troubling price action with Bitcoin below $25,000.
Binance is looking to get a foothold in the cryptocurrency payments ecosystem. The payments and app integrations are set to become the omnipresent Binance brand awareness.
