Cairn Homes, the leading Irish home builder, has announced the appointment of Richard Ball as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ball will be taking over from Shane Doherty and will officially join the company on April 10th. In addition to his role as CFO, Ball will also become an executive director of the board at the annual general meeting on May 10th.
The outgoing CFO, Shane Doherty, who had previously expressed his intention to step down, will remain with the company during a orderly transition period until the third quarter.
Richard Ball brings with him over 18 years of experience in the Irish property market. His expertise lies in finance, capital markets, sustainability, and investment. Prior to joining Cairn Homes, he served as a partner at Urbeo Residential, a prominent Irish residential property business. In this role, Ball was responsible for overseeing all finance and investment functions within the company.
With this new appointment, Cairn Homes aims to further strengthen its position in the industry and continue its growth trajectory.
