Producer prices in the eurozone reported a monthly increase of 1.2% in April as the factory prices rose 1.3% in the entire European Union.
- On an annual basis, producer prices in the Eurozone and in the European Union in April jumped 37.2% and 37%, accordingly.
- Industrial producer prices in the Eurozone in April 2022 compared with March rose by 3.8% for intermediate goods, non-durable consumer goods by 2.7%, and capital goods and durable consumer goods by 1%.
- The highest monthly increases were reported in Slovakia with 9.3%, followed by Luxembourg with 6%, and Bulgaria with 4.1%.
The largest monthly declines were posted in Ireland with a negative 16.4% and Romania with a negative 3.2%.
