NVIDIA revenue in the second quarter of 2022 jumped 68% from a year earlier to hit a new record of $6.51 billion on gaming strengths.
- Gaming revenue came at $3.06 billion, a surge of 85% year over year.
- Data Center revenue also hit a record of $2.37 billion, up 35% year over year.
- GAAP earnings per diluted share was $0.94 in the second quarter, a jump of 276% from a year earlier and up 24% from the first quarter.
- Net income was $2.374 billion, up 282% year over year and 24% quarter over quarter.
In the second quarter, NVIDIA paid cash dividends of $100 million and announced it will pay the next quarterly dividend of $0.04 per share in September 2021.
