Home prices rose 19.8% in February year over year, the third-highest reading in the index’s 35 years.
- The 10-city composite annual increase stood at 18.6%, up from 17.3% in the prior month. The 20-city composite was up 20.2%, an increase from 18.9%.
- Phoenix, Tampa, and Miami posted the highest gains in annual home prices of 32.9%, 32.6%, and 29.7%, accordingly.
- All 20 cities posted higher price increases in the year ending February 2022 compared to the year ending January 2022.
New York, Minneapolis, and Washington D.D., posted the smallest price increases, but they were still in the double digits.
