Wholesale inventories in the US rose by 2.3% in March compared to the prior month to hit $840.3 billion.
- The total wholesale inventories rose by 22% from the revised figure of March 2021.
- Sales of merchant wholesalers were $686.2 billion in March, rising 1.7% from the revised February level and were up 22.1 % from the revised March 2021 level.
Inventories to sales ratio for merchant wholesalers was 1.22, slightly lower than the 1.23 reported in March last year.
